Looks like you need Porsche P/N 911 110 971 00. This is a very pricey item. If you search you may be able to find a rebuilt (w/core exchange). Good Luck.

Still looking for the Porsche part # which corresponds to the Bosch part # 0.438.100.077.

The 911.110.971.00 is NOT the correct fuel distributor for my car. I believe I should have 911.110.967.00.

What I'd like to find out is what Porsche part # does 0.438.100.077 translate into.

Thanks,
Rob

Actually, if anyone with a '78-'79 USA or '78-'80 euro SC could look at their fuel distributor and tell me what the Bosch part # on it says, that would be excellent.

Thanks !

You must have different info than my shop and our suppliers use. The # 0 438 100 07 cross references to 911 110 971 00. I checked 4 different sources, I wonder where the mistake is? Bosch Engine Management Components Catalog or the Porsche Parts Catalog that the dealer uses?

Well, this is exactly the information I was looking for !

I don't doubt your information that 0.438.100.077 equals 911.110.971.00. I had no way to cross reference this myself. This fuel head is meant for the USA '80-'83 SC's with a frequency valve.

I have a euro '80 which should be using the 911.110.967.00. The fuel head meant for pre-lambda SC's.

So perhaps this could be the reason my car runs excessively rich at full throttle? I have been unable to stop my car from blowing black smoke at WOT.

Thanks alot !
