My new knob

Went to the local Sally Anne yesterday (my Saturday ritual. It's an age thing) and found this wonderful looking wine stopper.
Price: $0.99.
When I got home I removed the cork which was glued on to a piece of wood which in turn was glued onto the center of the round upper part.
I simply wrapped some electrical tape around the circular center piece until there was a reasonable amount to fit tightly into the shifter arm.
It is in there nice and tight.
Not exactly a match to the sterring wheel but I think it looks rather fine

One of the things with having an all black interior is that there is no contrast. Your interior has a view. I guess if you wanted to get fussy, you could use some gloss clear on the knob to better match the wheel shine but then the story gets diluted. :-)

I also like no center counsel.

Sounds like you need to make another Salle Anne run, as you've yet to fulfill your need for a wine stopper.
