The first kind is when you or your passenger get water poured on them when you stop. The problem here is that the rail (18) wears at the back pin and sits too tight on the pan (1). Dirt also blocks water from getting under the rail to the drain hole which is outside the rail. Water collects at the back of the pan and when you stop it pours out on your head. The solution is to remove the sunroof (3) and then tape a 1/16 washer under the rail as far back as you can reach. When you reassemble the sunroof you'll have a gap under the rail for water to run out.
The second leak is water under a back seat cushion. This could be a window leak as well, but the rail (18) and the cable guide (4) go out through the back of the pan (1). Open the zipper and seal around these openings with a good sealant (a girlfriend’s small hand really works well here).
