Need help mounting some trim pieces

Does anyone know where I can get the clips that hold the outside door trim pieces on? And how to mount the rear reflector panel on a 74 911? Thanks, Mark

I just put mine back on (the top of the door, horizontal)...and got some clips that were very similar from local auto store (Lordco).
The clips were just a hair wider...so I ground them down with the sanding disc.
If you check a good auto parts store...they will have a catalog of all sorts of wonderful clips and stuff....go wild...order lots..LOL.
When I checked the book I found clips and studs for almost every part of the car available.

Hello

All the pieces are aviable from porsche parts supplier and if not at a porsche dealer ;)

Now on your reflector you have to look what version you have. the pre 76 versions had 10 M4 studs and needed simple big washers and a M4 nut to mount them. You have to remove the heat shield to gain acces to that area.

later versions had 10 biger plastic feets and 10 clamps fiting into the retangular cutouts on the panel. you just pressed the reflector into them and they clamped the unit. Its tricky to remove those reflectors so you have to remove the heat shield to to do it without braking the reflector apart.

As far as the clips I ordered them from Tweeks. My rear reflector has small studs on the back, so I guess I'll find some small grommets and a big washer to mount it. I bought this car in boxes so I'm trying to figure out how to put it back together. This is a picture of the progress not very good picture though. I painted this car in the driveway because the garage is in the basement and I didn't want to get the fumes in the house. Once the car is able to roll I'll take some better pictures.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads/mp1.jpg
