Melbourne Pelicans Drive Day: The NEXT installment
Hi all,
Judging by the comments about the last trip, I figured most of us (and hopefully some others who couldn't make the last one) are mad keen on doing it all again. No doubt we will have some fun disagreeing with options so I thought I’d initiate some discussion.

Ahh dammit! It didn't allow multiple choice for some reason, anyone know how to edit the rules to a poll after it's been saved?

Victor,
Sept 15th is good for me, I'll be overseas any earlier than that! It's 10:00pm and I just got home from a quick, one-man Pelican Drive Day. It's nice and cold, I had the windows open and heaters on full blast on the feet. It just doesn't get any better!

Victor,
Fantastic day! The wife and I went all the way to London Bridge before headed back. Having seen how a Porsche should be driven, I think attending a few club days and DE is a must. Would love to do it again, 15/9/02 is good for me. Cheers Kenneth 951 |

15/9 is good for me too Vic. Just get me back safely for my 31st B'Day (19/9) - LOL
![]() What's the destination Vic? AB? 12 Apostles? Albury? Kenneth, perhaps we should BOTH book into a John Bowe's DE class. It'd be fun ![]() Adam, did you take the looooong route to the video library? LOL! BTW: If this is open to all exotics, Nick would like to bring his monster R33-GTR Twin Turbo

What an incredible machine! Knowing the difference of an extra 200 horses, now I have to convince my wife I NEED more HP! Seriously, I am sure the 951’s capability is far beyond its owner’s. I would be very interested in John Bowe’s DE, drop me a line if you have the details (ky@austin.unimelb.edu.au). It was a great day. Would love to see Nick with his R33-GTR TT next time. Ditto to the other makes...
My friend, Andrew, would love to bring his 2000 Integra Type-R. It's a hell of a machine, and hopefully, Matt H will be able to bring his '74 Carrera 2.7 hotrod if it's ready in time.

*bump*
Looks like we have another attendee for Sept 15th. His name is Brian Storrar and he owns a red 911SC which he imported from the USA and converted to RHD himself ![]() I'm trying to convince Barry Smith to come along in his 930, since he'll be permanently relocating to Townsville come November 2002. It'd be a good farewell drive for him, from the Melbourne 911 gang
