Does the Bosch Injector O-ring kit fit?
Got my manifold off to replace the gaskets and figured I'd replace the orings on the injectors for my 3.2.
The few reviews of the stock kit (944-110-901-00) indicate that only the orings fit, and that the top hats and spacers are wrong. Would rather not pay $6.50 for 2 orings. Also, I'm hesitant because I've found it pretty easy to destroy the little top hat when replacing the orings and I don't want to find myself scouring the internet for top hats that fit. I know the typical Pelican answer is to send 'em out or replace them, but at 140k miles and no indications of any problems, I'd rather not toss a bunch of money at them right now or wait around another couple weeks to drive my car. Not really that hard to get them out again if I have to. Figure if the stock kit doesn't fit, I'll just re-use the orings. Anyone tried the stock Bosch (944-110-901-00) injector seal kit? |

I think my Mr Injector service was $120, maybe a bit more but certainly didnt think I was throwing money at is as my 84 probably had the org injectors and similar mileage to you. Service came with those orings and new hats. sure ran smoother too
