Help im not getting more power when i open the tap on bottle, any ideas what might be wrong? The istallation looks sloppy now but im planning on duct taping the bottle to the hood.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1380295244.jpg

You must have the NOS line feeding into the washer filler and not the gas tank filler. Swap and see if it's any better.

Try the can version its works better:

Am I the only one cringing at that metal bottle sitting on the paint?!? It's like fingernails on a blackboard for me.

If you paint the wheels gold, you get the same result....or better still...change over to flint ignition!

All the NOS pics I see have the can on the inside.
Throw it in the back seat and open up the valve and your good to go!

Flint ignition, thats a good one!:D I actually saw an add for one of thouse oversized wings they put on jap imports that said "will give about 50hp", impressive how increasing the air restistence of the body can add power?

Your setup looks fine, I run mine just like that and the butt dyno says I increased fuel mileage and hp.

RWebb 09-27-2013 11:26 AM

your problem is that you need to use nitrous, not nitous

you might also try this alternative installation:http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1380310013.jpg

It does if you have the right wood.

Why would you toss off with a sandpaper glove? Even I could deduce that would require a particular set of perversions not common among folks.

April first already?

You may have received one from a bad batch. Mine is set up the same exact way and works perfectly fine.

Exchange it for a new one.

NICE!! Reminded me of that story on a different sight were a guy put the NOS energy drink in the gas tank of his motorcycle! True or fake it was an amusing read!! Anybody have the link to that story, if you know the one I'm talking about?

Here's another "true" story. A friend of mine who is a mechanic had a customer come in with brake problems. The customer started having problems after he topped up his brake fluid with some new expensive brake fluid made by "ATF"!?!
This actually happened.

What's wrong with using ATF break fluid?

Position the bottle in the center of the hood. Dust the tape and bottle with a couple of light coats of 22 Line and it will appear to be a hood scoop.

Yes, the paint job appears not to have "Orange Peel" but the whole fruit.
