Can you ID these wheels and...

...should I buy them for my SC?

I am debating. My idea was to go with 17" wheels and take my time refinishing the Fuchs. These wheels are 16", so no great enhancement there. I guess it would only be to have that updated look when I feel like it. Wheels need some polishing and have some curb rash, but are OK. Tires need to be replaced. Asking price $800.

Any Photoshop guys want to show me what they would look like on an SC Targa? I suppose an anthracite one is too much to ask...

I believe those are the Turbo 3.6 rims which the 1993 C2 Turbo 3.6 was equipped with.

There are some replicas out there made in 17", but the original factory units were 18" I believe.

Love those wheels!

price is a little high for being damaged, i think i would look else where, by the time you replace a wheel halve you may as well bought new wheels, and they are only 16's but if 16's are what your looking for?, anyway shop around, Kevin

Howdy TimB,

They are replicas, I know a man who scored a set of these BRAND NEW for AU$120 a pop. That's the same as US$240 for the set. New. In boxes. Looked identical to C2 Cup wheels.

They come from somewhere in Asia where cast alloy rims are made in MASSIVE quantities and copyright laws don't exist. Ask Bill Gates or a Sony music exec. Anyone been to Bali (Indonesia) lately and wondered why a $500 Bemo (local el cheepo car) is wearing $2000+ worth of rims?

That's my angle/theory anyway. I have the fuchs God intended on mine.
