Another new owner in Philly

And down the rabbit hole I go.....

Hello Pelicans! Long-time reader here looking to make some Philly connections. I saw James' post a few weeks ago and can finally add mine!

I've been researching and casually looking for years, just waiting for the car that would grab me and here she is:

'89 Gran Prix White over tan & black. 112k miles, fully original down to the crappy sounding Blaupunkt cassette player. I am the fourth owner. The PO kept her took meticulous care of her and I can not thank him enough!

I've got my floorjack and stands ready to go and can't wait to get my hands dirty..

It's been three weeks and I still lie awake at night planning my next drive, is that wrong?

Thom

I'm in Center City but I've heard there's quite a group air-cooled lovers out your way. Looking forward to meeting everyone at some point.

Nice looking ride Thom. I've owned mine for 18 years and I still think about my next drive and buying something or another for it. If you're lucky the feeling will never pass

Great car , congratulations.

I vote for no stone guard. Just makes the fender busy, not allowing to see the fullness of the silhouette. If you worry about protection go clear.

Enjoy!!!!

Welcome to the area and Porsches. I just moved here (Berwyn) a few weeks ago and there is a great group of guys. I'll be going to NYC this weekend for the Global Citizens Festival in Central Park on Saturday, but I will catch you all next weekend at C&C.
My 2 cars:

P.S. If anyone wants to go to the festival, let me know by Friday. I have 4 extra tickets which I won in the lottery. The tickets are free and the lineup this year is John Mayer, Alicia Keys, the Kings of Leon, Elvis Costello, and Stevie Wonder. We went last year also; they had Kanaan, John Legend, the Foo Fighters, the Black Keys, and my man Neil Young and Crazy Horse. That was an amazing concert!
