Sent an email to RUF re the rubber spoiler lip for the FG bumper cap as shown below on Bill V's 911. I was told it is no longer produced. Anyone have one or have an idea of how to make one?

Find an industrial rubber supply house (ie Capitol Rubber in Sacramento).

Or McMaster-Carr

What are the specs on it (size, density, etc)?

Thom, I new if anyone could come up with an idea of how to make this you would.

As for the specs, I have no idea. I am picking up my front bumper cap on Friday and the pic of Bill V's car is the closest I have ever been to the rubber spoiler. I'm hoping he will chime in.

I just ordered the Yellowbird Bumpers as well and expext to add the rubber lip. I was thinking of getting the plastic lib from a 1986-89 jetta GLI. This piece looks very similar but I have to wait untill I get the bumpers to do the measurements.

Actually the plastic piece I am talking about came on the standard jetta and golf from 1985 to 1988. It took me a while to find this picture. I could not highlight the piece since the computer I am on does not have an image editor. Anyways, it is the plastic lib in the bottom front.

No one has to know where it came from :)

IMONBOOST,

It is disappointing isn't it? You order the bumper caps and no lip. I'll keep the Jetta in mind. But take a look at Thom's link for McMaster-Carr. It looks like something can be fabricated for about $10.

Thom's idea is probably a good plan B, The dimensions are 65.75" x 3"x .35"(9mm) Here's a pic showing the cornor radius
