no spark 70 911 t
 

:confused:bought a basket case 70 911 t , motor rebuilt , webers etc. car ran when last put away 10 years ago, but not now. not getting spark . test light shows power to one terminal on cdi unit , but I thought it should buzz if powerd up, its not buzzing . should it be ? is only one wire hot going into the cdi unit? anybody have any ideas? please help

Not sure if this is your CDI box but Permatune lists the pin outs / trouble shooting for other 911 applications as well.

Welcome to the club! I have 70T and bunch of parts baskets also. If you have a Bosch CDI you should hear a high pitched sound from it with the ignition on.
