Overheating and oil pressure relief valves

Does my 1970 2.2L engine have oil pressure relief valves? If so where are they located?

Can sticky oil pressure relief valves cause overheating?

Thanks,
Steve

Steve; do a search on oil pressure relief valves there are many posts and you'll find photos of their respective locations.
Early models didn't have issues with oil relief valves and overheating like the SC. If you have overheating problems with your car I'd look at other alternative causes.
Such as , did you change anything or did this start of of the blue etc...
