Short of replacing the leather on that bolster, I'm not sure that's really repairable.
You might be able to minimize / camouflage it though. To do so, I would insert a piece of leather behind the split, apply a good quality glue (I like E6000) between the seat cover & backing, and tape it so that the split is closed. Let the glue dry for a couple of days before removing the tape. If the repair is holding & acceptable, I'd then lightly apply leather dye to the area to further hide the wear & repair. Good luck! you could use the Leatherique system to fix that, although a "fix up" on that wound is never going to be perfect. And the Leatherique stuff isn't particularly inexpensive.
IMO the best way is to have the panel replaced. |

I took my seat out and brought it to an upholstery shop which replaced the leather. I had it back in two days. It cost $150. It looked good as new! You might want to try your local shops for a quote.

Seat back is interchangeable with passenger side. Then go to ColorPlus or Leatherique and do as DGriz suggested. Their web sites have good instructions. Now you are good to go for another 26 years.
