Guys, Help me id this part

Anyone ever seen this part? I have two floating around my cobble of parts and I can't remember what or where this goes. Thank you in advance.

Looks like the 10mm threads that hold the forward bolts on the turbo charger to the turbo base piping.

I don't know the part Bruce is talking about. But my guess was going to be the captive nut plate on the back side of the door latch panel. The rust is consistent with that location too!

As f'ed up as that thing is, I can't imagine that you would want it to "go" anywhere (but maybe the trash). :D

Mike , you may have solved the mystery I will have to check in the morning. Thanks

Mike's right, it's the plate that holds the captive nuts for the door striker on the back side of the B post (inside the rear wing/fender). There's a shaped plate that holds it loosely in place so you can adjust the striker a bit.

I had to make a replacement (like you will!) using the original captive nuts welded to a new, easily cut, piece of sheet metal.
