Maybe you guys would know. Is it possible to get fresh air through the louvered vents in the dash, the ones the A/C uses? I can get air on my feet or my windshield, but not my face.

F2P you da man! Just sent u a PM with my address. Sarah, thanks for this post which reminded me that I needed that knob too. And JGordon, I feel your pain, but it can't be done. Two separte systems. What I normally do is set the fresh air split between defrost and feet and just turn on the AC knob to blow some air towards my face. My AC isn't even hooked up.

Hey Kurt - The missing knob has been bugging me for a long time. I tried to get one from our p-techs but it was taking soooo loooong I had to take matters into my own hands!!

Thanks to F2P, my knob search ended today!! YEA!!

Jgordon - I also can't really get much fresh air right on me. The A/C is kinda noisy, so what I usually end-up doing is putting the windows mostly down and open the sunroof. It seems to pull the most cool air in. (The inside of our 930 is black so it can feel like a sauna in there).

Have a good day guys!!

Z - I had checked the categories on Pelcian Products but could not find it listed. Guess you had better luck then I did. Thanks for the info anyway.

Sarah and all--use some suprglue on those little buggers. I've had them loose on two Porsches and the only way I found to keep them from cracking and loosening was to use some glue.

Hi, Sarah and Kurt, what you wanna use for the absolute best bond is "LOCTITE 414" if you can find it.. super glue is fine too but it will eventually degrade and fracture the bond line.
Just a little advice... no biggy
