Trunk Lid Interior Protector
Anybody know a source for a trunk hood protector? I am looking for the liner that goes in the trunk on the hood (upper) side of the trunk. It would be there to protect the exterior side of the trunk from hitting something in the trunk and causing a dent or dimple on the hood. Seems like I saw these at some point but after getting a dimple in my trunk I thought I would look again. I've seen the in photos and I am not sure if they were purchased or custom made.

classic9leathershop makes a glue in one and das schild makes one that clips in. I use the classic9 version

Dent protector available here at Pelican!
PEL-FS7397, about $219.  the classic9leathershop version is 1/2 inch sound proofing rather than dent protection, but is only $95

here is my 1.5 cents... I don't like these things as they will not prevent dents, just spread them out more if you overload the trunk (and you need to leave _more_ clearance with them installed
also, they add wt. I always use soft luggage too |
