Something Great for Engine Tuners or Smog Test Strugglers!

For anybody struggling to fine tune their engine or smog their car check out the toy I have for sale.

914World.com - The fastest growing online 914 community!

I don't know if you've ever used one of these but after having one you find that they're indispensable for getting a fine tune and/or beating the bi-annual CA smog test.

As a fyi I have 2 of these, one I'm keeping and one for another lucky garage rat!

Lol, I don't know if you've ever tried to pass a CA smog check with a modified or older vehicle, but if you have this would definitely be a huge help, especially since we play "Jeopardy" with the state every 2 years.

To be serious though, I know a lot of us in emission standard states have a very difficult time trying to get our cars to pass the bi-annual smog check, and many of us end up on the garage boards looking at either incorrect or numerous answers to our query as to why our car failed, (e.g. responses such as you need a Cat, O2 sensor, Fuel Injectors, etc).

Having something like this in the shop may help a fellow member who just can't get their car(s) tuned in right, and personally I'd rather give the Porsche community first crack at it before I post it for sale online to the general populous.

Best regards,

Mike

P.S. BTW, what's wrong with a little intrigue? After all, for most of us these cars are our hobby, not our job

Mike let's cut to the chase, #1 this forum is used to help each other and not bait them into playing your silly little game. Please post in the classified forum where you must show your item and price. Total B/S

There goes 86 seconds of my life wasted, if I want to throw time away I can go to work and at least get paid for the frustration. Go back to the forum from which you came!

Mike,

I think you are smart individual but after a few posts of yours, my impression seems to change in a different direction. Quit while you are ahead.

Admins please delete this thread!

I thought I would try to help some of the members by posting this in a spot where someone that may need it could find it, maybe have some fun with their "hobby", and maybe learn about a tool/garage tech that they didn't know about.

If anyone was offended I'll apologize in advance for the "mis-post" but everyone should remember that sites like this are for sharing information, parts, and past experiences to help out other members that have similar cars and similar interest,... and as always if you make a few bucks on side to pay for your hobby that's always a good thing too .

What sucks is that I would have preferred to sell something like this to a fellow Porsche buff, but after seeing the response I'll just stick to the free for all on CL or Evilbay and skip the sentimental stuff.

Best of luck to everyone,

I had good luck tuning to a wideband and staying between 14.9 and 13.5. Passed me through the Arizona sniffer on megasquirt fuel and spark more than once.

Not being a wise ass or perhaps I am, but you still don't get it. What pisses most off is wanting to sell "something like this" I think most on this board are too old and wise to want to waste their time playing your silly little game.
