Dave,
Those are splendid shots. Please tell me what kind of Digital Camera you used to take them.
I'm in the market for one. Thanks!

Doug,

If you like the idea of cheap, permanent storage on 3" CD-Rs, i.e., $0.79 for 160 pics 1600 x 1200 pixels stored in JPG or TIF formats, superior 10x optical zoom equiv. to 38 mm-380 mm w/ 52 mm accessory threads, 'handling' like a conventional 35 mm with motor drive, 2.5" LCD screen, ISO external flash shoe, 'InfoLithium L' rechargeable battery pack, USB connectivity, and the SONY brand ... get a Mavica MVC-CD1000. Price has dropped from $1200 to $738 since last October ... check at:

www.pricewatch.com

I just got one on Monday, and so far it is great!

Doug,

The first eight shots were taken with a Sony Mavica digital camera (I'm not sure of the exact model). It's one of the models that stores pics on floppy disks.

The last two images were actually done on a flatbed scanner.

Warren,
Thanks very much for the "heads-up" on the Sony Mavica MVC CD1000. This is the very model I had been considering, mostly for the ease of the storage medium. The price of this model is dropping locally as well. I think I'll get one.

Dave,

I found an old diagram in an Intereurope 911 service manual that might be of interest to anyone trying to troubleshoot the backfiring on overrun condition, so I scanned and printed it, and color-coded the wires with map color pencils and rescanned it, and then resized for posting:

Any one interested,

My old camera is up for grabs. Its a sony DSC 770. Less than a year old.

I bought a Cannon D30 (real 35 mm type with interchangable lens and all )

Make me an offer, I will accept trades of P-Car parts...

Randy

Zen,

That is the Ballast Unit leading to the tach input, that is a '69 vintage circuit diagram.

Warren,

Thanks for the diagram!

I 'think' mine may finally be working, but I haven't done the final multi-meter check to confirm.

Thanks again for all the input!
