Depends on the parameters of the trade:
  • Car: F40 or F50 (sure, it's a step down, but the styling is worth it)
  • Chick: one with huge... tracts of land (to build a shop on)
  • House: something near the coast, take out a loan against it, buy a 930 from ImagineAuto
  • Job: Trojans test pilot

straight trade: a testarossa from the 80s. The ones with the gills on the door in front of rear fenders. Damn I love testarossas. Ferraris f'ing rule.

Oh, but same or similar value...another 3.2, but a coupe.

Similar value you say? At this time, I can say I've thought about a Z-06...they are fast. But, also at this time? Nuttin'!

With the parameters you set with "same or similar value" my answer is simple - NOTHING!

I've only had my 911 a couple of months, but I love it and can't think of anything I'd rather have. I hardly drive the triumphs anymore.

I don't think I could match the performance/coolness of my car for same/similar value.

But, if I *had* to trade, probably a Renault-Alpine A110 in mint cond. (and the rally headlights) w/ an 1800 Gordini motor. I would insist that it was blue, however.

I've always liked the 1990-> Mercedes SLs. But then I remember; heavy, big, auto transmission..... Erh maybe I'd go for BMW M3 instead. Silver please with black leather interior.

If I had to trade my current SC for a car of similar value:

E30 (1988-1991) M3

E24 (1987/88) M6

E28 (1988) M5

That's about all that would interest me in the $15K range
