Looking to purchase a squareweave carpet kit for my 88 911 coupe. Where can I get one or have one made?

I bought a squareweave carpet kit for my '75 911S from Tony at Autobahn interiors. Quality is very good.

I was speaking with cabrio.de about square weave on an SC and they were saying it's not recommended as it's not flexible enough for the car. Id be interested to see how you guys go with it.

It is probably not as easy to install as sliverknit or perlon, but it isn't bad. If you want squareweave, don't let that sway you away from it.

That makes sense.
Do you have any photos? |

I'd like to know more about this as well. I'd like to have a carpet similar to the Singer 911, i'm not too fond of the plush thats in there now.

Sorry, don't have any photos of my car at the moment (and it is not readily accessible).
However, this car by fellow Pelican R K T was my inspiration to use squareweave. That and the fact I have used squareweave carpet in aircooled Bugs over the years, and I have always liked the look and quality. Link to the thread: German Square Weave vs. Perlon |
