Did anyone take over for Bruce anderson on Porsche valuations?

I haven't picked up an issue of Excellence in a long time but I used to really enjoy reading Bruce Anderson's P-car value segments. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is still done for the magazine? I'm kind of needing to know my car's value before I go insurance shopping again.

Check out the Hagerty Insurance website as they have a pretty nice valuation tool. I think Excellence was trying to get out of the valuation arena, but PCA does have a valuation committee that may be of help.

As Bruce's condition went downhill Excellence revised that section of the magazine. It's nowhere near as valuable as it used to be. It is reformatted and less hands on, though they list regular sakes reports of actual transactions.

Some people just can't be replaced. Rip Bruce. Many of us miss you.

Excellence published a Porsche Buyer's Guide which came with the magazine some months ago.

I believe Excellence is publishing a separate buyers guide once a year. If you are a subscriber you will receive it with one of your issues. Pretty much same format as before but with all models under one cover.

Seems like the last couple of years, there has been a separate issue for prices.

The annual price guide arrives in August (or thereabouts) to subscribers. This year was the second year of the all-in-one format.
