Right wheel well squeak

So I have a right wheel well squeak when bouncing, especially when moving slowly. I can recreate it by pushing down on the fender. I've read all the posts I could find on such squeaks and I want to start with bushing replacements. Would appreciate guidance on what collection of bushings to replace and what material to use?

Also, once I take my 84 carrera in for this squeak, what else should I get done in terms of suspension as an ounce of prevention ? 25,200 miles on my baby. Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the front? If so, the torsion bars are notorious for rubbing on the inside control arm tubes. In my case, I put small shims under the teardrop adjusters to lift them slightly, but I think just removing and greasing the torsion bars should be sufficient.

It could be two things...sway bar bushings or ball joints. Your shop will easily distinguish which.

After getting my wife to bounce the front end at standstill, squeak appears to be coming from the fender side control arm bushing. After reading posts I know it could be any set of bushings so I'll leave it to a pro. One day I'll work up the nerve to tackle a project like this. Thanks for the responses.

Just for grins...here is some audio recorded on my phone at a passenger's feet. Hopefully this will help when future Pelican noobs like me have a squeak!

Torsion bar on control arm tube gets my vote. If so, depending on how much rub there was you may be looking at new torsion bars as well as bushings.

I see this description in the forums frequently..here's one by Chuck.H:

"I had a similar problem with the torsion bars - the teardrop adjusters wore themselves into the aluminum cross bar, allowing the torsion bars to drop slightly and rub against the a-arms. Funny thing is, this happened WAAY back around the 40k mark; I put thin steel spacers under the teardrops and they've been fine ever since!!!"

Many posts like this. Can anyone post pictures that illustrate the problem and where the spacers/shims/weld bead actually go...trying this as my first project ... and could use some visuals. Thanks.
