Price Check Speedlines??

Morning Guys (and girls),

Need some help identifying these wheels please. They are Speedline 17" 8's and 9's and I like the look of them but I think I'll take the car back to stock. P.O. put them on.

It's an '84 factory Turbo Look. There appear to be approx. 2" spacers on back and 10mm on front. I have no idea what they are off of or their worth? Will they fit a narrow body 911 or should I post them om the 944 board?

Here are some pics..... they are dirty but appear to be genuine.

Any info. or idea on worth appreciated.

Scott

That is a Speedline Alessio 17" wheel. I actually have 3 brand new ones. Speedline then moved up to the 18" size and it looks a little different. When I build for 930 cars I build 8.5 and 11 or 11.5 and require no spacers. In the rear I use 4.25 or 4.75 deep rim that just looks fantastic. jdorociak@gmail.com jimhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1382193820.jpg

Thanks Jim,

Any idea what these were made for or what I might ask for them in a sale?

Thanks,

Scott

Those would probably fit a late model 944/968 or 964 or Boxster Most of those cars would have used ET 52 ish or ET 55/50 ish in the rear for those sizes. I have not really seen a set of 17" wheels for sale before and it will really depend on whether or not the new buyer likes the way the wheels look but I would think $750 - $1500 range. Looks like you have some rim damage on the rear rims if I remember right. It would be possible to re size these so they did not need any spacers to work, and some people actually like 17" vs 18" so -- good luck with the sale. jim

What is the difference between these bolts and the ones Jim is showing?

Jim Dorociak 10-19-2013 03:17 PM

Well both are official Speedline bolts. The bolts on this set of 17" Alessio are what I commonly call Speedline button head logo bolts. I see these bolts on many Techart Daytona wheels that were made for them by Speedline. They are round with a flat spot and a small raised portion down the center of the bolt head. The traditional Speedline logo bolts are 6 pt torx headed with a SL stamped in the top of the head. jdorociak@gmail.com jim

Wow Jim, thanks for the information. Those 930's look amazing with the proper sizing and deep dish. I'll send you a PM with a couple more questions if I may.

Appreciate the help. Scott
