1987 911 parking brake light on
My 87 cab parking brake would flicker ever once in a while but I would then click the brake lever down and I would go out. Now it is on all the time. Does any one know where the brake switch is? Or what might be causing this.
Thanks |

Same issue with me a few months ago. Ended up being the M/C. Replaced due to it bleeding through itself

That's also often an early sign of battery overcharging....

Was it expensive to replace the master cylinder?

No but a real pita to change. Don't forget to bench bleed many say you don't have to BUT I say different (just my 2c) if you don't see any brake fluid and you hold your foot down on the brake and the pedal slowly goes down I say M/C

Overcharging
If what WWEST says is true (battery overcharging), check the water level in the battery.
