Cruise Control Brain
Recently my cruise control begin acting up in my 87' 911 with speeding up, slowing down and speeding up and slowing down. I tested the system out per the Bentley and all fingers pointed at the cruise control unit (brains). I called several repair shops and most quotes ranged from $175 - $250. I called our host but, was told they didn't have anyone avail to do repairs. So, after searching around I found a repair shop on ebay that would repair and provide a lifetime warranty for $79.00 and included return shipping. I shipped the unit out and their turn-a-round time in their shop was four days. I re-installed the unit today, took it out for a drive and it works perfect so I put the warranty paper in with all my other history and done and over. Hope this info can help someone else.
I am not sponsoring this shop or recommending them but, merely passing helpful info along. If you call them they will quote you $249 so buy the service on ebay for the reduced price.
