Question Left rear pin-out of cable going to rear lights

Just installed a brand new rear light housing in my 1973 targa. The problem is that the pinout on the cable connector is different then the older one. The older one work fine and all the lights worked including the rear fog light. In particular the rear fog light connected to the female housing at the 11 O'clock position on the old one. The new one however has the rear fog light female connector at the 12 O'clock position and nothing seems to be connected to the 11 "o-clock female position. I was wondering if anyone knows whether the new female pinouts on the new light housing is suppose to be different, or did the person making this Borsch light housing some how make a bad connection inside the rubber molding. When I connect the Male end, which is part of the wiring housing from the front of the car, the fog light male does not plug into the fog light female position as it did on the orginal old light housing. I have checked all the rest of the pinouts and they are all A-OK. Any info on the difference between the old (73) pinouts and the new one will be appreciated.

pinouts

Thanks Bob, but not very helpful. I know the pinout from the car works fine. it worked on the unit I was replacing. The problem is the new light assembly seems to have the female pin in located in the 12 oclock position rather then the 11 oclock position from the car cable. So all i need someone to check, if they have one of the new light assemblies, is what pin go to the fog light connection. I think my new one is wired wrong. Just call Sierra where I bought it to see if they had one on the shelf to check the pinout, but unfortunately they do not. I guess I could somehow put a small thin piece of metal in-between the connection at 11 and 12 oclock and short them into each other. The old light assembly only had 5 connections and all are used, the new one has 7 and two are not used.
