Hi from Newbie and Question
 

Hello everyone,

I'm a long time Porsche owner but just recently caught the bug to buy a classic 911.
I am looking at a couple of cars out there and would like recommendations for experienced classic Porsche mechanics to do a Pre-purchase inspection for me in the following areas:

- Los Angeles
- Las Cruces, NM
- Lake Tahoe

I hope to have a new 911 in the following few weeks! :D

In the LA area try: TRE Motorsports 818-909-9220 or TLR 818-982-7610 both are in the San Fernando Valley, just north of Los Angeles.

TRE is an excellent resource but, to be fair, Los Angeles is a HUGE place so until you can narrow down the location of the car any, suggestions as to who to use is not going to be too helpful.

My search has just begun, hopefully I find a car I really like, can afford and is not a SCAM!, soon enough ;-) but most seem to be out in the LA area so I appreciate the referral.

TLR = TLG, simple typo, but a great shop....tony and Marco are top notch, and with john Esposito across the parking lot, they can evaluate these cars very well....

TRE is great, too.
