What strength of ampere should I use?

What strength of ampere should I use to my Porsche itīs a 930 -77.

The one I got now is 12V 63A but it feels a little gentle.

What exactly do you refer to?

Are you referring to the strength or size of your battery?

Depending on which you're refering to, the alternator should be 70 amp. (980 watt) and the recommended battery is a 66 amp/hour. In the U.S. we typically rate batteries by "cold craning amps" (CCA), I think (I'll be corrected if I'm wrong) the least, recommended "cold craning amps" is a 650 CCA rated battery.

Jocke,

From 1974 onwards ... the standard battery was 66 A-h, and the optional one was 88 A-h.
