74 911 Pass-side Ambers don't light as driving lights but Turn Signal/Hazards work
I have a 74 911
All my lights work fine except my front/rear passenger side amber driving lights but the same bulb blinks for turn signal/hazards i hear the relay constantly buzzing until i signal then both lights blink on the dash i don't know if this could be related, it doesnt appear to be a factory relay either I need to get my passenger side driving ambers to light id like to figure it out but a way to hot wire them to work would be fine too passenger side being right side(USA CAR) |
Check the simple things first. Start by checking the fuses. Left and right are fused separately on these cars.
|
Fuses are good
There is a stray white wire with blue marker stripes on it Hooked it up to power, still nothing so removed it again I checked the large fuse panel on driver side near battery/headlight, and the one in rear driver side in engine compartment, anywhere else I should look? |
I believe the stray W/Bl wire should go to the fuse for the High Beam white wire for the indicator lamp on the tachometer.
Many lighting problems can be poor connection to the chassis brown wires. Cleaning corrosion where they connect in the fender will help. Sometimes it can be caused by one of the filaments in a duel filament bulb burning out. |
Where exactly are the grounds for passenger side markers?
|
I can't say for sure since mine is a non-impact bumper car, but look in the passenger fender well for Brown wires connected to the chassis.
