Who has the highest mileage 911 in here?
We've all heard anecdotal stories about 300K SC's...just curious. What is the mileage on your 911?
No where near a record but I've got an 87 Carrera with 151K. Did valve job at 143K and other than that trouble free. |

I'm about 500 miles away from 200K on my '86 Targa.
As far as I know, the engine has never been apart.

My odo says 270,000, but it's been broken for some time. years. Well north of 300K. I drove it to work today. And yesterday. And last week. And the week before. And next week.

My 87 has a bit over 215K on the clock.
I have a video showing it rolling over to 200K... ... at full throttle, 145 mph, closing on redline. ![]() (wife has a shaky hand as a cameraman...)

The early odometers only go to 99,999 miles, so there really is no way for me to really know...

Sadly, it has. Broken head stud. I took the opportunity to install new bearing sets, new rings and new valves. It still has the pistons and cylinders installed in Stuttgart.

My 1987 Carrera Targa has 171,000 miles and has never had any motor or transmission work performed. My goal is to get to 250,000-300,000 miles before doing a rebuild. It should make it (fingers crossed). It runs super strong, uses a quart of Mobil1 about every 1,000 miles and only smokes for 2-3 seconds on startup after sitting for a few days.

There is something reassuring about this thread
![]() I only have 141K on my 82. As my daily driver I've put right at 10K in my first year with it. Jay

My '79 has 190,000+ self rebuild at 172,000. While many of the componenets were replaced due to "out of spec" during rebuild it still cranked and ran and I believe it would have for years to come. Looking forward to the next 30 years...

126,400 on my 86 Carrera 3.2. Its just a baby in this list but has the highest mileage of my families three cars (97.5k on a 2000 Accord, 96k on a 2001 Odessey).
My hope is to make it past 150 without any major work on all three.
