Does the Speedo error have any impact on odometer reading? I'm off by ~10% on my speedometer and it doesn't really bother me but if there is an impact on the odo reading, I might get it calibrated.

I had the broken odometer gear issue. My calibration was ok but I removed the speedo needle in the process closely following this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvm23fMcSEA When put back together, everything was spot-on like before. It was a pretty simple job. If you're having calibration issues, perhaps follow this video to the point where he removes/installs the needle? Might save some time & money from having it sent out. |
