Extended hub for early (batwing) steering wheels?
I had a stock steering wheel with optional extended hub for my Carrera Cabriolet. Though the extension only brought the wheel about 1.5 closer, maybe a shade more, it really made a noticeable (positive) difference. I have an RS wheel in my 1972 911 and would like to bring it closer to me without having to bend my legs more. Is there a hub extension for these early wheels? I tried a later hub, but it does not really fit. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Yes there is. rather rare.
CDave (cornpanzer) makes/made a run of these extenders. You can find him easily on the early S registry. |

I'm having a hard time understanding how to get in touch with Zuffenhaus. I keep running into a blog. Anyone have a number? Also, what I did see somewhere of Zuffenhaus' is a hub that allows the use of an early OEM steering wheel on a later car. I'm looking for an extended hub for an early wheel on an early (69-73) car. Do they make that? Thanks.
