MSD Ignition
Hi, has anyone installed a MSD ignition. How difficult is it, are they dependable, do they increase HP, drivabliity, etc. Are they a good choice over the Bosch units. I am planning to install a 3.0 L in my 77 911. The motor I am buying does not have a CD so I may buy an MSD. What about the tach with the MSD. Thanks, Jerry

I have. I found it pretty easy (so it can't be too hard). I have now installed it in my BMW 2002 and got it right first time

I recently installed it on a 81 3.0 in a '66 car with carbs in place of the CIS. I found the install relatively easy but I've installed it on several other cars in the past. I had to use MSD's tach adapter to get my tach working though.
