so - if you hot jumper the pump - does the car run OK?
fwiw - i had a similar problem awhile back on an engine that had sat in storage a long time - turned out that 3 injectors were stuck - it had the same start-die symptoms you describe Quote:

All of the problems with this car turned out to be at the fuse panels. Bad connections from a VR problem I had a while back, things got a little toasty I guess. New fuse panels should fix the problems. Parts are on order. I sure will be glad to get this car going again and staying running. When I do get it running I am going to wring it's neck for being such a pain in the ass for so long!

I know you told me Joe Bob, I always had good voltage at the DME and DME relay during tests, so I thought that power supply was OK. I sure got a bunch of new parts on her. She has a name now, after a car or truck leaves me stranded on the side of the road like "Gudrun" did two weeks ago they get a name. She has been named after Heinrich Himlers daughter. Not a very flattering name at all. As an adult she worked to free Nazi war criminals.

VR is voltage regulator.
