I'd buy Wayne's book 101 projects for your 911 if i were you!

It told me to turn the horn pad to the left in order to remove it. Under that you will see a nut that needs to be removed.

I think your wheel is the same as mine, so give that a try!

Porsche Crest Wheel

Ok, here's what I did:

1. Straighten front wheels.
2. Remove horn pad.
3. Remove nut from steering shaft using 27mm socket.
4. Remove wheel.
5. Put anti-seize compound in new hub.
6. Install horn ring contactor in new hub. This is removed from the old wheel, I think it screws on with three screws.
7. Connect/extend wire from horn ring contactor to a female faston terminal, should come with the hub.
8. Install hub with "tooth" at 9:00 position, so that it is opposite the turn signal switch.
9. Reinstall washer and nut on shaft, torque to recommended setting for your car (like 40 ft/lb)
10. Install wheel using allen screws. Be sure to sandwich the metal contactor ring between the hub and the wheel. This is one of the connections for the horn button.
11. Connect horn button to faston terminal.
12. Push horn button into hole and align.
13. Carefully test drive at low speed and enjoy.
