Permatune with Rev Limiter

Is it possible that the Permatune in my car has an inbuilt rev limiter? With a standard rotor button, some sort of rev limiter is cutting in at 7200 rpm.
If so is it possible to adjust when it cuts in?

the rotor is the rev limiter -

you will probably find the number 7200 on the side of it - they come in various rev limits from 6800 - up

Took out the rotor with rev limiter and replaced it with a standard one without a rev limiter.
Starts cutting out at about 7200 rpm still, so I must have some kind of electronic rev limiter, cannot see anything but the Permatune box that might be doing this?
