I remember my VW buddies had a stinger exhaust kind of similar to that. I didn't it too much. That one is horrible. I saw some pics of cars in Japan that had exhaust like that but must have been at least 6 feet tall sticking up above the roof.

I just saw a VW Jetta down the street from my house with a pipe like this. At first I thought someone left a floor jack under the back end. The pipe on this Jetta was black. I don't see how this could be remotely legal.
