AC cabin vents removal for radio...
I have a 76 911S and i am going to refurbish my 8-track/radio stereo
to get at it i need to release it from the rear (pulling off the knobs and faceplate still leaves the radio secured (feels like its secured at the rear) to do this i need to remove the kneepad AC is this easy? has anyone done it? ac shown below.. ![]()

I would start in the trunk and go at it from behind.

That won't accomplish anything. The back side of the radio isn't in the trunk.
Usually a radio is secured at the back (if at all) by one screw. No way to reach behind the A/C duct to loosen it? JR |
