				Problem with Headlights

My headlights went out after smelling burning plastic in the car.

I drove home on the shoulder of the road for about one half of a mile and the high beam lights came on. When I got home I checked the switch and no low beam just high beam. When you use the switch it just dims the lights slightly. I checked all the fuses, twisted them in there holder and all seemed good. She has had her windshield replaced and I put in a new ignition switch in the past 2000 miles. I thought a new high low beam switch would be a starting point. 1984 Targa Jim |

you need a new switch , that is about a couple hundred bucks unless you can repair yours. do NOT install it without the 25 dollar relay kit from the host that would have saved the switch in the first place.
