NoVa Fun Run #2 Date Is Set
 

Based on the posted responses and direct e-mails I received, the date of Sunday, September 22nd has been selected for our NoVa Fun Run #2.

At this point I am still firming up the exact route (read I still need to "try out" a few roads to determine if they will make the route!) but we will start again just outside of Herndon and then head West. I am thinking of doing maybe a 90 minute stint followed by a stop to stretch the legs and then a 90 minute stint home.

I think we should plan on meeting at say 7:30 am this time to avoid some of the traffic we experienced last time.

Once finished anybody who wants to is more than welcome to come back to my place (in Herndon) and hang out on the deck relaxing for awhile.

I'll post more details in a few weeks but just wanted to get the date out there so everyone can block it off on their calender.

Let's see if we can beat the turnout of 8 911's from Fun Run #1 :)

There has been some talk on the 912 board about a fun run in Sept. Would it be OK to lump it together? We promiss to try and keep up.

I am actively looking for a 911 and currently have a few leads. If I get one by that time, I'll definately be there to introduce myself.

OK, so I'll be crushing class IV rapids on the Gauley, but still gonna miss this run. Should be bigger and better than the first.
