please post your wide body SC targa pics

Thinking about doing the 491 option to my SC, I need some pictures please. if you did this to your SC, what would you do differently if anything, tips and suggestions greatly appreciated!

turbo flares
turbo suspension
turbo brakes

i currently have a carrera tail, not going the tea tray route. i might go with out a tail or maybe a duck tail...

thanks

no luck with a search and google images suck!

I have a real m491 targa, but I drive it everywhere and I have to face facts one day it may get in a situation where I have to retire it... if that unfortunate day comes I'll probably build one from an existing targa.

While I'm sure I'd start with an 88 or 89 Carrera, one thing I may not update is the rear trailing arms - if you stick with the stock ones you can run sexy deep dish rear wheels, where as the turbo ones require quite a bit of positive offset.

Just my 2cents,

My car, but PO's pics, got the '95 3.6 motor for it last week, come on Spring, Woohoo!

My only tip would be to look around for a car that has already had the widebody conversion done, they are often less expensive than an original car,

Obviously, I don't know what you consider "deep dish", but many people on the 930 forum have posted pictures of extremely deep dished wheels on their Turbos with stock trailing arms.

Maybe I'm not using the right term, but what I mean can be seen if you compare the rims on the blue car in post #3 above to the ones on my car. The blue car has much more 'dish' to it, what looks like 6+ inches, whereas mine only has about 4". I have 11" wide rear rims, but to get them to fit right, the offset needs to be where it is, ie, with not much dish.
