I'm trying to calculate the spring rates for the different early (Pre G50) 911 T-Bars. Does anyone have any near by from which they could take a couple of measurements for me?
What is the "working length" (excluding the fluting) for a front and a rear T-bar? The math is pretty straight forward and I'd be happy to post the results after I figure them out. Thanks!

I have a spring plate angle calculator on my site - http://vintagebus.com/cgi-bin/spring.cgi - plug in your t-bar size and weight, and whammo, out comes the spring plate angle. Set your unladen spring plate to that angle using a protractor, and you're good to go.
The math credit goes to Will Ferch - I just did the programming and hard-coded the trig tables. Here's the t-bar data: mm:lbs 23:100 24:120 24.1:122 25:140 26:165 27:191 28:221 29:254 30:291 31:332 32:377 33:427

Sorry for the late response: Front torsin bars, ....given first in mm diameter..then lbs/in rate 18.8 = 110 21 = 173 22 = 210 23 = 250 24 = 296 25 = 350 Don't know if sizes greater than 23 are even available. --Wil Ferch
