Targa top restoration
I bought a complete targa top restoration kit of ebay last week. Received it yesterday and I am very happy with it.
It also included a nice step by step pdf explaining the procedure. If someone is interested in a copy of it, I am quite happy to email it (it is 2 Mbīs though). Just send me an email (peter@peterstey.com)

My top is overdue for attention also. I'll be interested to hear about your results. I've been planning to send it off for professional repair to the tune of $800. I'd much rather do it myself for the cost of a kit.
Please post (or email me) with your experiences and results as you dig into this project (a copy of the instructions via e-mail would be great too). If it's truly do-able, I'll certainly give it a try. Once concern is identifying and finding the proper adhesives. Thanks and good luck with your project.

Peter!
Please include me in your mailing list! After the beating my top took in a hail storm, it definitely needs to be replaced! I'd also love to hear about your experiences while doing the work, I've read over the Tech Article hear on the Pelican Site, but the more information and points of view, the better. Good Luck! Randy P.S. Please send it to rcecale@aaahawk.com, since hotmail won't accept a file that size. P.S.S. HEY! Just thought of an idea for Wayne....how about an FTP connection for this site for the posting of stuff like this. A person could just re-enter their id and password to post or download files. Might take up some room and more of Wayne's valuable time though.

Is it the kit from overseas? Belgium, I seem to recall.

Peter,
I did actually receive the PDF file you sent. I tried to reply to let you know but for some reason the e-mail kept failing. Tried again this morning and encountered a similar problem. Thank you very much for sending it. Between your file and the Tech Article here on the Pelican site, I don't think it will be too difficult of a task to accomplish. Thanks again! Randy

I'd like a copy of the instructions as well. Can you e-mail them to me at sib100@earthlink.net? Thanks.
