Calling All UK Pelicans!!
Hi All,
I'm a member of The Independent Porsche Enthusiasts Club (TIPEC), and I'm co-ordinating a get-together at the Knebworth Classic Motor Show (see Knebworth ). It's over the August bank holiday weekend (25 & 26) and promises to have over 2500 cars attending. I thought it may be a good opportunity for us UK Pelicans to get together as well? Guys,
I don't think I made it too clear above, but the idea is for you to join us on the TIPEC club stand and show off your cars as well! I need to know if your coming by the 8th August, coz I need to register the number of cars we have and distribute your passes once I receive them etc.. Sounds good providing the weather isn't like todays.
 What does registering and paying in advance get you (other than a saving at the gate)? Will I be able to park my car with other Porsches or in a general car park? |

If you're not registered you don't get to park up with the rest of us!, if you definitely want to come, just give me the nod and I'll do the registering and send out the passes. It'll be a big saving as well coz it's only £2 to register! Let's hope our weather does us a favour over that weekend! Cheers, Tim. |

You can come both days for £2! Don't worry about sending any money yet, what I'll do is find out how many cars we've got and write one cheque for all of them. You can settle up with me when we're there. I'm thinking of booking a hotel for the Sunday night, so if anyone wants to do the same, let me know! I think the best way to organise all this is if you are definitely interested send me a private message with your email address, phone number and home address (so I can post out the passes), and we'll take things from there. I don't live very far from Knebworth. In fact I used to skateboard in the park when I was younger.
So Tim, to clarify - you will register for me and I turn up on the day, pay the entrance fee, explain to the organisers that I have a reserved parking spot, find you and then give you £2? |

I would love to come along but I have two problems:
1. I will be on holiday, and 2. I wouldn't be sure my gearbox would survive!!!!!!! With that in mind any UK guys know of a good 911 5 speed box for a 70T around? Time for beer me thinks!!!! Gareth
