Has anybody had experience with reproduction door handles? What is the quality like? Performance sells them for $90 w/o the lock, and that seems a lot better than repairing mine or buying OEM. Wayne, can you get these?

My experience is, that the quality of the chrome plating is generally not pretty well. Will not last that long as an original.

I explored this route during my 911E resto. I ended up getting a pair of "much nicer" used OE handles from Carquip (http://www.carquip.com) for under $200. (I also used new lock cylinders and keys.) Then I sold my old handles on ebay for around $75. IMHO I'd check with the dismantlers for nice original handles before going to the repros.
