Seat frame swap?

I replaced my old seats with used ones. The used ones have the motorized up/down motors so they're a bit taller than the old ones. I can live with it but I do prefer the lower seating position.

I understand that Porsche revised the seat mounting to account for the higher motorized frames. I don't want to get into rewelding the mounts. Is there a way to take the newer seats and attach them to the old frames?

Thanks
Dave

Not really, the height of the electric seat comes from the seat's structure, not from the rails. I tried to have the electric seats lower, the only way is to thin the seat's foam.
