That reminds me--another rear view mirror question

Does anyone make a panoramic rear view mirror that produces a better view than the tiny view out the rear window the stock mirror provides? I'm looking for something that would fill the gap between the side mirrors and the rear view mirror. Any recommendations? Thanks

"4-panel, black plastic housing, panoramic rear, Wink Full View mirror. Increases your rear vision dramatically with a 4 panel panoramic rear view mirror. Each panel is slanted at a slightly different angle to give you a full view of the road and eliminate blind spots. It has a special coating to reduce the glare of headlights and bright sunlight."

Yeah, I got a GREAT recommendation ( IMHO)...works for years and not many people know this. It's a matter of adjusting what you have differently. Applies to US, Rest-of-World drivers ( not UK or Japan, where this procedure must be reversed).

In your garage, while parked... get comfortable behind the wheel. Adjust the center ( windshield) mirror in the conventional manner. Now...to adjust the left mirror, move your head far left until it contacts the side glass. Now...sight alongside the side of the car as you normally do. But your head is placed on the glass ( do this while parked...OK?). To adjust the right-side mirror....move your body so that your head is about in the middle of the car, as if you were sitting in a fictitious "middle" seat. Adjust your right side mirror normally, sight alongside the side of the car.

Now...go back to your original seat position and start driving. What do you see in your mirror(s).? A car from behind will appear SIMULTANEOUSLY in the left-middle mirrors.....or the middle/right mirrors...eliminating the blind spot. Works better at night too as it limits blinding lights from behind. What you've done is set the two outside mirrors to more "wide angle". This works well once you get used to it...and it avoids those butt-ugly and useless "button" mirrors that people stick-on.
Try it... !
