Took a race with a 2.7

Oo, still feeling very happy.

In this neighbourhood we don't see much 911's. So today while I was driving with my "normal" car, 88 Lancer, I see this 911 Targa go by me. I just say to my girlfriend, "I need to get to city with my Porsche to see if I can find that person riding here". After I got home, switched cars and instantly left back to downtown. Yea, there she (the car)was standing right beside the road parked still. I drive by and give a little gas and there she is, started up and running behind me.

So I take a turn and she follows, I park the car and the other parks behind me. Little chitchat, car comparing, and we wish both happy day. At that moment we were standing right in front of police station, so couple police were at the other side of road. Also many people start to stare us and gather around the cars so we decide to take off. "Have a nice day", "You too" and off we go.

She takes off first and I just behind her. We take couple turns and then, straight road with 2 lanes. Pedal to the floor. She read my mind, I really wanted to race, this occasion comes so rarely. There we go two 911 Porsches riding side by side, people staring at us. God damn what a rush! After the lane starts to merge, we decide to slow down.

Well I lost the race, but not by much. She had a 2.7S engine and I only 2.4T.

Talk about a smile at my face after that
