16 x 7 , 23.3
16 x 9 , 15

Fit is close. Lowered car a long time ago, so this fit is snug. I spent some time yesterday rolling the fenders. I learned (the hard way) to keep the front wheels straight when entering my driveway. Sitting with the wheels straight, there's a whole finger between the top to the front tire and the fender. Same for rears. More road testing today.

They look great, Scot. BTW, what size tires are you running on those 9's?

I really agonized about tire choices.. (you can check with my wife.) I settled on BFG Super Sport A/S, all season tires. Not the comp 2's. It gets below 40 degrees here at least 8 months of the year, and I didn't want to change winter/summer tires. Rears are 245/50/16 and fronts are 215/55/16. Yes, I know, a little bit taller, so bigger circumference, etc,etc... I'll deal with it. But they seem to fit nicely.

I'm one of the rare non-fuch guys, however, that setup, the stance with the 245/50 tires, looks stellar. Very nice work!

I think you nailed it. The extra diameter is filling out the wheelwells and making the car look lower and meaner that it is, I bet.

Care to share the details of polishing process with us?

Look great....what did you start with? Were the pedals (is that the right term?) painted before?

I love this look . I hate the look of black centers with the polished lip. It makes the car look like its riding on hoops.

Nice Job

Thanks all,

I started with Euromeister 7 and 9's with black centers and machined/ridged/grooved outer lip edges.

First, I used extra-nice bio friendly paint remover, (because my wife said so). It took a few days to loosen the super-gnarly black finish, and the satin finish clear on the edges, but it finally blistered enough to easily scrape it off with a plastic scraper.

Then a blasty power wash and let dry.

I started with 220 grit sandpaper. Then 320. Then wet 400. Then wet 600. Then wet 1500.

Then a few different sizes of buffing wheels on the drill, with red compound.
Then go back and 600/1500 some more.

Then buffer wheel some more.
Then Mothers metal polish by hand.
Then stand back and enjoy.
Tape off shiny areas with 1/2" electric tape, and blue masking tape.
Rough up area to be painted black with the 600.
Gray primer.
Sand and fix, and primer again, and sand and fix some more, finish primer.
Black Rustoleum Satin 7777
Peel tape.
Then some Acrylic Coating polish that I had for my motorcycle, to prevent oxidizing.
Get tires. Yay!

Posting to "stance" now.
