Throttle switch mounting/adjustment

Greetings,

After recently purchasing an '84 Carrera 3.2, I have been going through things in the engine bay, valve adjustment, plugs, etc. The other night I noticed what looks like a throttle position sensor or throttle swich on the side of the throttle body is about to fall off. The upper mounting screw is about 1/2 backed out, and the bottom one is missing.

My question relates to resecuring the sensor, and how it should be adjusted. Both sensor mounting holes are actually slots, and I can rotate the sensor about 10 degrees. What is the proper way to adjust/remount this sensor? I have looked through some of the threads on throttle linkage adjustment, but haven't seen anything pertaining to the sensor itself. Any help appreciated.

Thanks!
BG
